Maxceemum Corporation was established primarily for the promotion and distribution of non-acidic
Vitamin C as Sodium Ascorbate under its premium brand, maxCEEmum. This is by reason of the
depth and reliability of the scientific basis of the health benefits of Vitamin C over other health
products with no less than 2-time Nobel Prize- Chemistry awardee, Dr. Linus Pauling.
Non-acidic maxCEEmum Vitamin C is manufactured by Doctors Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was
established way back in 1947 and is owned by the Duque family which includes former Secretary of
Health, Dr. Francisco Duque.
The company is cognizant of the fact that there are several others who are promoting and distributing
Vitamin C as Sodium Ascorbate or even as Calcium Ascorbate. Initially, the company planned to come
up with Calcium Ascorbate because of less competition and it sounds better than Sodium Ascorbate,
and thus easier to market. However, by reason of its independent research with Doctors Pharmaceuticals
it has chosen Sodium Ascorbate over other non-acidic vitamin c including calcium ascorbate, potassium ascorbate, magnesium ascorbate, zinc ascorbate
or manganese ascorbate. For one, ONLY sodium ascorbate is recommended by medical experts for the treatment of cancer (considering calcium ascorbate when taken in megadosages to treat cancer may even speed up tumor growth as calcium calcifies). Moreover, independent research shows that sodium ascorbate megadosages (thousands of milligrams/day) does not cause a build up of sodium unlike megadosage of calcium acorbate which causes an over build up of calcium that can be toxic.
